Le Grand Rossignol – Les Crus 2016 – Bordeaux Supérieur

The nose is fruity and slightly gourmand. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, crushed fleshy strawberry and slight notes of blueberry associated with a discreet hint of sweet spices. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers a slight tension, a nice fresh frame as well as fat. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh/ripe blackberry, fresh/ripe strawberry and a hint of raspberry associated and a discreet hint of licorice as well as a hint of toasted oak/cacao. Tannins are fine, plentiful and a bit dry.
