The nose is fruity, elegant, charming, rich and concentrated. It reveals notes of blackberry jam and fresh cassis associated with slight notes of licorice, caramelized oak as well as hints of lilac. The palate is fruity, fine, fresh and offers juiciness, a good volume, a nice acid frame as well as a nice matter / texture. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh cassis and redcurrant associated with slight notes of boysenberry, juicy plum as well as a discreet hint of strawberry jam, slight notes of licorice, cardamom and toasted oak. Tannins are fine, elegant and well-built. Good length and persistence. Beautiful suavity and gourmandise on the finish.
