Le Clarence de Haut-Brion 2020 – Pessac-Léognan

The nose is fresh and offers a fresh/juicy fruit, a certain delicate power, some concentration as well as a nice fine, silky and stretched grain. It reveals notes of violet, crunchy raspberry and slight notes of fresh flowers associated with touches of fresh blackberry, liquorice stick as well as a subtle hint of racy minerality and graphite. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, good definition, silkiness as well as a coating and delicate fatness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fresh/juicy blackberry, pulpy/fresh raspberry and slight notes of crushed red berries associated with touches of exotic spices/almost green curry, pepper and a subtle hint of liquorice stick and toast. Good length. Very nice acidity!
