Le Clairet de Boutinet 2019 – Bordeaux Clairet

The nose offers a small power. It revealsnotes of ripe cherry, crushed/ripe redcurrant and small notes of violet associated with fine touches of strawberry, fresh licorice and an imperceptible hint of lilac (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers fat, roundness, suavity, a fine tension as well as a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy strawberry and small notes of pulpy / fresh cassis associated with fine touches of crushed cherry, violet as well as a subtle hint of racy minerality, zan and a very discreet hint redcurrant. A beautiful Claret.
