Le Chemin Des Rêves – Gueule de Loup 2018 – Pic Saint-Loup

The nose is fruity, slightly tight and offers a fine power, a small intensity as well as a certain density/blackness. It reveals notes of wild cassis, black cherry, small notes of small black plum associated with fine touches of violet, zan, discreet hints of pepper, small wild red berries and a hint of laurel berries/spices. The palate is fruity and offers suavity, minerality, an aerial side, tension as well as a beautiful balance, concentration/blackness and deepness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of wild cassis, small black plum, small notes of small black berries associated with a touch of cherry/cherry steam as well as small hints of spices, tobacco, zan, a hint of black olive, camphor and cocoa. Tannins are structuring and quite fine. Good length.
