Le Blanc de La Rivière 2020 – Bordeaux Blanc

Le Blanc de La Rivière 2020 – Bordeaux Blanc

The nose is aromatic, fruity, slightly tight and offers a small power. It reveals notes of lychee, green apple and small notes of apple blossoms associated with small touches of lemon, lime as well as subtle mineral hints and almond. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, a certain dynamism, roundness, a small fat (rightly done), precision, a certain deepness as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy apple, lychee and small notes of quenette associated with touches of sweet citrus (lemon, lime), a hint of lemon blossoms, yuzu, peach blossoms as well as very discreet hints of minerality and honeysuckle. Good length. Beautiful persistence. Almost an imperceptible tannic hint / crushed almond on the finish / persistence.
