L’Ancestrale du Payre 2020 – Cadillac Côtes-de-Bordeaux 

On the nose it is fruity, fresh and it offers brightness of the fruit, a certain harmony as well as certain depth. It reveals the notes of bright cassis, violet plum and slightly small red currants associated with the lily, grey pepper, a fine hint of fresh licorice stick as well as an imperceptible hint of hazelnut and cinnamon. On the mouth it is fruity, finely tight and it offers the juiciness, the freshness, a good definition, a certain gourmandize, a little tension. The wine express the notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, pulpy cassis and slightly  small bright red currants associated with cherries, cherry blossom, racy minerality as well as fine hint of the zan, a discreet touch of sweet spices. The tannins are racy.
