The nose is fruity and offers a certain power, a fine intensity as well as a nice ripe/acidulous fruit, a fine incisive side and a small flowery side. It reveals notes of bright redcurrant, cassis, small notes of cherry associated with touches of small bright wild black fruits, cherry flower, rose as well as fine hints of cuben pepper, cornflower, a discreet hint of zan and caramelization. The mouth is fruity, balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, suavity, a fine tension, a good freshness and juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cherry, bright redcurrant, small notes of blackberry associated with touches of violet, cherry flower, toasted as well as hints of nutmeg, sweet spices, cardamom, a discreet hint of torrefaction. Good length. The tannins are finely firm and relatively massive/polished. A good acidulous persistence.
