La Sergue 2022 – Lalande-de-Pomerol

The nose is a little closed, but refined, complex and deep. It offers a very nice concentration and expresses notes of ripe fruit (black plum, morello cherry, wild blackberry, blueberry, wild strawberry), associated with notes of fresh flowers (violet, cornflower), and delicate touches of sweet spices. very well integrated (licorice, vanilla, cloves, nutmeg). The tannins are elegant and fine, but at the same time have a solid structure and firmness. The finish is dry, but balanced by a nice acidity. Very nice persistence and complexity on the finish, with a very interesting note of Earl Gray tea and bergamot on the finish.
