La Seigneurie, Sénonien 2022 – Saumur Champigny

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers fruit and gourmandise. It expresses notes of red cherry, strawberry, crushed raspberry, a touch of fresh blueberry and blackcurrant, combinedwith a hint of violet and mint. On the palate, the attack is juicy and fruity, but the mid-palate expresses a tight side of tannins and a slight bitterness. We find notes of morello cherry, red cherry, blackcurrant, wild plum, crushed raspberry and strawberry, combined with notes of violet, cut rosemary and dried mint in the background. The tannins are firm, a little rough and tight, softened by a lively and salivating acidity. The finish expresses the notes of tangy, even tannic fruits.
