Ruby colour with hints of garnet. The nose is full and fresh, with hints of mint, pepper, liquorice, blackberries and strawberries. On the palate, the fruit is rich and full. The spices tighten up the mid-palate and the finish is dominated by tannins. The tannins are spicy but remain in harmony with the fruit, which continues to dominate throughout the wine. The wine can be fully appreciated in two years’ time.
