The nose is fine, fruity, elegant and offers a fine concentration / richness. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and discreet hints of fresh red berries associated with a discreet hint of flowers, bell pepper (very discreet) as well as a discreet hint of spices and an imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper. The mouth is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, tight and offers a nice definition, a nice freshness, suavity, minerality (racy minerality) and a nice finesse. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of blackberry and black berries combined with slight hints of cassis, redcurrant as well as hints of licorice and toasted / caramelized hints. Tannins are very fine. Good length. On the persistence there is a discreet hint of chocolate.
