The nose is nicely concentrated, intense and quite power. It reveals notes of flowers (lilac, touch of Iris) associated with fruit (nice maturity). The palate is fresh, elegant, mineral, racy, gourmand, fresh, complex, ample and offers some creaminess and a nice matter. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh red fruits associated with slight notes of strawberry, black fruit, a touch of cassis and fine oaky / toasted notes (in background). A “multi-layer” wine that appears gradually. Tannins are fine, numerous and a bit grainy. Good length and aromatic persistence. The finish is suave.
