The nose is aromatic, finely powerful and offers a fine structure. It reveals notes of cassis, wild black fruits combined with hints of red fruit, discreet hints of lilac, a very discreet hint of lier and discreet toasted / dark chocolate hints. The mouth is fruity, finely juicy, well-balanced, finely silky and offers harmony, a beautiful minerality, a nice fat, a fine grain and tension. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fresh/ripe blackberry and fine notes of strawberry, black cherry combined with a discreet toasted hint, chocolate / tonka bean as well as a discreet hint of Bourbon vanilla. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length. An “easy-drinking” wine. Good length and persistence.
