The nose is fruity, fresh, aromatic and quite fine. It reveals notes of fresh blackberry and cassis associated with slight hints of grilled oak, racy minerality (terroir) as well as a hint of coffee. The palate is fruity, fine, mineral and offers a slight unctuosity, a nice juiciness, a nice freshness, tension, a good “guideline” as well as a nice volume. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy/fresh blackberry, cassis and slight notes of fresh raspberry/strawberry associated with woody hints, mocha and grilled coffee. Tannins are well-built. Good length and persistence.
