La Croix Gratiot, Le Chant des Dolia Languedoc 2020

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity, with very slight garnet reflections. The nose is aromatic, of medium intensity (+). The bouquet expresses notes of ripe black fruits (black cherry, black plum, blackberry), some touches of cocoa, and dark chocolate with a hint of sweetness, enhanced by notes of mint and liquorice. The palate is round, with flavours of ripe, a bit jammy red fruits (strawberry, red cherry). But it also expresses freshness and a tangy frame of black fruits (blueberry, black cherry, black plum), with a hint of spice,  dried mint, rosemary, and a slight bitterness in the finish. The body of the wine is medium, with structured and integrated tannins. The acidity is quite fresh and the finish is fruity and pleasant, with a hint of bitterness and tannins that remain in the mouth. A wine with concentration, tension, and good structure.
