La Croix de Beaucaillou 2016 – Saint-Julien

The nose is elegant, fruity and offers delicacy as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of Boysen berries, fleshy strawberry and more slightly fleshy blueberry associated with small touches of liquorice, flowers, as well as discreet hints of tonka bean and oak. The palate is juicy, fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a beautiful precision, tension, an acidulous frame, a beautiful suavity, dynamism as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy/juicy raspberry and more slightly small juicy red berries associated with small touches of cassis, blueberry as well as discreet hints of flowers. Tannins are fine and elegant.
