The nose offers power, structure as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of toasted/vanilla, kumquat, quince and small notes of small yellow fruits associated with fine hints of frog and spices. The palate is fruity, fresh, juicy, well-balanced and offers minerality, suavity, fat as well as a fine acidulous/juicy frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe/juicy lemon, juicy/ripe quince and small notes of kumquat associated with fine touches of toasted, sweet spices as well as a hint of grilled bread and hazelnut/dry fruits (in the background). Good length. A very discreet chew and very discreet hints of almond on the finish.
