La Chapelle de Lafaurie-Peyraguey 2018 – Sauternes

The nose is fresh, fruity and offers gourmandize as well as a fine minerality. It reveals notes of crystallized lemon, lime, small notes of fresh peach/peach flowers associated with fine touches of verbena as well as a discreet hint of almond and a subtle hint of caviar lemon. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, precision, a beautiful finesse of the gourmandize as well as unctuosity, a fine silky touch, a small suavity and a very fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crystallized lemon, zests, small notes of caviar lemon associated with fine hints of mango and a very discreet hint of candied/roasted apricot. Good length. A very discreet hint of zests and lime on the persistence.
