The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine acidulous frame, juiciness, gourmandize as well as a good definition, precision, a fine tension and a fine grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, an acidulous blackberry, small notes of small acidulous/juicy red fruits associated with hints of lily, iris as well as discreet hints of chocolate, toasted, a very discreet hint of mild tobacco and an imperceptible hint of citrus (in the background). Tannins are precise, racy and finely firm. A very discreet hint of crushed almond on the persistence. A fine sapidity on the finish.
