The nose is fruity, elegant, slightly powerful/intense and offers a slight richness (in the background) as well as a slight complexity. It reveals notes of Zante currant, dried orange zests and green lemon dried zests associated with slight hints of quenette, crystallized mandarin as well as discreet woody hints, rancio, caramel, dried apricot, grilled oak and a subtle hint of spices. There is an imperceptible hint of dried fig/flowers in the background, after aeration. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant and offers a slight acid frame, a slight juiciness as well as straightness. In the mouth this Cognac expresses notes of crystallized lemon, crystallized mandarin and dried zests associated with hints of white fruits in syrup, caramelization/rancio, toasted oak, spices and cardamom/almond.
