The nose is elegant and offers a beautiful finesse, complexity, a beautiful juiciness, a slight freshness as well as a beautiful gourmandise. The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, blueberry and slight notes of cassis, violet associated with subtle touches of cardamom, discreet hints of toasted oak, chocolate, sweet spices, cigar, Sichuan pepper as well as subtle touches of almond, a subtle hint of tobacco and a discreet hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, gourmand, silky and offers a beautiful depthness, a beautiful acid frame, a slight minerality, suavity, a good definition as well as a beautiful delicacy and harmony. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, juicy cassis and fleshy / juicy red berries associated with slight touches of plum, raspberry as well as subtle touches of chocolate, liquorice, tobacco and a very discreet hint of cardamom. Tannins are elegant, slightly chewy and offer suppleness. Good length and beautiful persistence.
