The nose is fruity and offers a slight concentration. It reveals notes of cassis and blackberry associated with small notes of ripe wild red berries, crushed raspberry as well as touches of liquorice stick, tobacco, spices and discreet toasted hints (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, very slightly grainy and offers a slight acidulous frame, tension, a slight straightness, a slight juiciness, roundness, a slight fat, freshness as well as a small suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe cassis, ripe raspberry and small notes of blackberry associated with small touches of flowers, wild berries, vanilla as well as discreet hints of chocolate and caramelization on the finish / persistence. Tannins are very slightly dry and a bit firm. There is a hint of hazelnut on the aftertaste.
