Joseph Drouhin – Marquis de Laguiche – Morgeot 2015 – Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru

The nose is elegant, aromatic and racy. It reveals slight notes of white peach and apple associated with slight notes of quince, yellow plum as well as a subtle toasted hint, beeswax and an imperceptible hint of vanilla. The palate is fruity, gourmand, well-balanced and offers tension, a slight acid frame, a slight racy minerality, a beautiful elegance, a beautiful straightness, a slight freshness, gourmandise as well as a slight suavity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of nectarine, pear and slight touches of apple associated with discreet hints of citrus zests, lemon, yellow plum as well as a hint of toasted oak and vanilla. There is a subtle hint of zests and lemon as well as an imperceptible hint of beeswax on the finish. Good length and persistenec. A very beautiful wine!
