Josef Ehmoser – Riesling 2018, Vom Gelben Löss, Grossweikersdorf – Wagram

The nose is finely tight. This wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of lemon, mandarine flowers, peach flowers and small notes of lychee associated with fine touches of apricot and exotic fruits/quenette as well as fine hints of flint. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a good structure as well as a fine suavity. It reveals notes of ripe lemon, lemon flowers and small notes of ripe/sugar pink grapefruit as well as touches of exotic fruits, crunchy peach as well as fine hints of racy minerality and imperceptible varietal hints. Good length.
