The wine has a deep ruby color. The nose offers a nice concentration of fruit as well as a precise and refreshing herbaceous notes (menthol). We find aromas of blackcurrant, wild plum, crushed raspberry, wild strawberry, red cherry, as well as wild mint, licorice, violet, rose petals and lilac. The palate is firm, tangy and chiseled, with grippy and dry tannins on the finish. We find the flavors of tart raspberry, crunchy strawberry, tart red cherry, blackcurrant, cut grass, mint, violet and lilac. A lively acidity helps soften the dry side of the tannins, but the finish remains tight and slightly bitter.
