The nose is fruity, elegant and offers straightness as well as a slight intensity (in the background). It reveals notes of wild cassis, crushed blueberry and slight notes of black cherry associated with subtle touches of crushed wild strawberry, flowers / violet, slight toasted hints, subtle touches of chocolate as well as very discreet hints of caramelized oak (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, silky and offers a beautiful tension, a beautiful finesse, a nice definition, a beautiful freshness, complexity, a slight suavity as well as a nice grain in the mouth. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, cassis and slight touches of blueberry, strawberry associated with subtle touches of chocolate, almond, wood / oak as well as subtle hints of blond tobacco (in the background), with slight touches of vanilla, caramelized wood and dark chocolate on the finish (brings gourmandise). Tannins are fine and very slightly chewy. Beautiful persistence. (2020+)
