The nose is fruity, fresh, relatively exuberant and offers juicy fruit. It reveals notes of cassis, raspberry and cherry combined with a discreet touch of fig, a hint of lavender as well as touches of zan, spices and an imperceptible hint of vanilla. The palate is sleek, mineral, well-balanced, well structured and offers freshness and a small juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, fresh cherry and touches of cassis associated with slight notes of flowers (discreet hints of violet and lavender …), slight notes of wood, mocha as well as hints of sweet spices and tobacco. Tannins are a bit firm, slightly dry and young. Good length and persistence with notes of dark chocolate.
