The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers freshness. It reveals notes of fresh fruits, flowers (cornflower, a hint of violet) and blueberry combined with touches of blackberry, fine touches of cassis, a hint of balsamic and a discreet touch of mocha, vanilla and oak. The attack is fleshy. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, a bit powerful and offers a mineral frame, tension as well as a fleshy and relatively unctuous matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and small notes of fresh strawberry associated with touches of blueberry, raspberry as well as (very) slight hints of oak, mocha and a discreet touch of cocoa. Tannins are firm, straight and medium grain. Good length and persistence with notes of chocolate.
