The nose is fine, fresh and offers minerality. It reveals notes of blueberry jam, cassis and fine touches of wild strawberry associated with hints of cardamom, rocky minerality, spice, a hint of graphite and a hint of Sichuan pepper. The wine needs to be worked/aerated in the glass. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well-defined, well-structured and offers finesse, a good freshness, a nice fresh frame as well as a nice unctuous matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, juicy blackberry and hints of strawberry, cherry, fresh fruits associated with touches of chocolate / mocha, licorice as well as a hint of black olive, sweet spices and small touches of toasted oak. Tannins are young and medium grain. Good length and persistence.
