Jean-Luc Mouuillard 2012 – Château-Chalon

The nose is aromatic and offers gourmandize, a small sensation of unctuosity as well as harmony. It reveals notes of fleshy pear, lychee and small notes of lemon associated with fine touches of dried mandarin, crushed kumquat, very slight hints of vanilla / vanilla flowers as well as a very discreet hint of rose fresh and white pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, tense and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, precision, freshness, finesse, justness as well as straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / acidulous lemon, acidulous green apple and small notes of cider associated with touches of dried lemon, crushed kumquat as well as fine hints of white flowers, vanilla and an imperceptible hint of brioche / butter. Presence of a hint of hazelnut / almond / nougatine on the persistence.
