The nose is powerful, fruity and offers concentration. It reveals notes of black cherry, violet and small notes of plum associated with discreet hints of lilac, pepper as well as a very discreet hint of tonka bean and nutmeg. The palate is fruity, soft, sleek/fluid, suave, well-balanced and offers a small tension, a beautiful acidulous frame, a small freshness, straightness as well as a racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, juicy Quetsche plum and small notes of crushed strawberry associated with discreet hints of blueberry / lilac as well as a discreet hint of chocolate and an imperceptible touch of sweet spices. Tannins are fine and discreetly mellow.
