Jean Cavé – Hors d’Age – Vieil Armagnac

The nose is fruity, relatively rich and quite gourmand. It reveals notes of candied fruit, orange zest, a touch of prunes and a hint of fresh tobacco associated with fine notes of rancio, oak as well as a touch of spice (cinnamon, cardamom), a slight note of dried orange zest and a slight touche of peach in syrup. The palate is fruity, gourmand, lively and offers elegance, fat, a certain suavity and a fresh frame. In the mouth this Armagnac expresses notes of candied lemon, acidulous candy and slight notes of caramel associated with a slight touch of cane sugar, crystallized clementine as well as slight notes of grape. Good length.
