Jean Cavé 1987 – Bas-Armagnac

Jean Cavé 1987 – Bas-Armagnac

The nose is fruity, elegant and fine. It reveals notes of candied peach and clementine zest combined with a touch of rancio as well as notes of spice (Sichuan pepper, a touch of cinnamon and a discreet touch of cocoa). The palate is fruity, gourmand, elegant and well balanced. In the mouth this Armagnac expresses fine notes of dried apricot, citrus and a touch of peach combined with a touch of caramel, slight notes of almond, discreet notes of hazelnut, a fine touch of rosewood as well as a discreet note of date and discreet grilled notes on the persistence. Good length and aromatic persistence. Good job !
