Jean Cavé 1986 – Bas-Armagnac

Jean Cavé 1986 – Bas-Armagnac

The nose is fruity, elegant, complex and fine. It reveals notes of pear in syrup associated with fine notes of peach, citrus and a touch of orange zest, crystallized tangerine, slight touches of flowers as well as fine woody notes, cocoa and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, gourmand, elegant, suave, well-balanced, well-built, round, relatively gourmand and offers a beautiful matter. In the mouth this Armagnac expresses notes of peach in syrup, slight notes of pear and a hint of candied citrus (lemon, orange) combined with a hint of caramel, rancio as well as small touches of coffee and spices. Good length and nice persistent with notes of caramelization and Quetsche plum. There is a small sweetness on the finish.
