Jacques Tissot – 2018 Trousseau – Arbois

Jacques Tissot – 2018 Trousseau – Arbois

The nose is fruity, racy and offers a certain concentration, length as well as a fine solar side. There are notes of wild red berries, wild strawberries and, more slightly, violets, combined with hints of blackcurrant, small wild plum, as well as fine hints of mulberry leaf and a very discreet touch of green pepper. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, good definition, breed, volume and a nice sexy / bright side to the fruit. Lovely mouthfeel supported by a nice structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy wild red berries, wild raspberry and slightly wild blackberry combined with hints of toasted almond, toasted oak and a discreet hint of chocolate, liquorice and toasted hazelnut. The tannins are elegant and racy. Good length.
