Jacques Tissot 2011 – Arbois, Vin Jaune

Jacques Tissot 2011 – Arbois, Vin Jaune

The nose is fruity, fresh, very discreetly tight and offers a fine straightness. It reveals notes of dried kumquat, peach and small notes of white flowers combined with fine hints of dried quince, almond / almond milk, spices as well as an imperceptible hint of vanilla and fresh walnuts. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy / acidulous frame, a beautiful tension, straightness as well as a small fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of dried lemon, dried kumquat and small notes of dried mirabelle plum associated with small touches of fresh walnuts, fresh almond / almond milk and an imperceptible hint of apricot (in background). Good length and good persistence.
