J. Moreau & Fils – Vaucoupin 2020 – Chablis 1er Cru

The nose is fresh, fruity, crisp and reveals a racy minerality. There are notes of fresh apple, fresh nectarine and, more slightly, fresh lychee combined with fine touches of racy minerality, gunflint and a discreet hint of honeysuckle in the background. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, suavity, acidity, a chiselled character, fine tension, accuracy and a discreet airiness in the approach. On the palate this wine expresses notes of quenette, fresh, pulpy nectarine and more slightly quince combined with hints of mesocarp as well as hints of pulpy white berries, a fine hint of carambola. Good length.
