The nose offers power, a small intensity, a small richness, a fine grain as well as gourmandize. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and small notes of tea associated with fine touches of wild strawberry, tonka bean, nutmeg / spices as well as very discreet hints of dried rose / olive tree and “sense of the place”. The wine needs to be put in carafe. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, minerality, a good definition, freshness as well as a fine fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and small notes of crushed raspberry associated with fine touches of small blue fruits as well as slight hints of tonka bean, spices, nutmeg, olive and a hint of tea. Tannins are fine, structuring and precise. Good length. Power on the finish. There is a hint of chocolate on the finish.
