Il Colle del Corsicano – Patrinus 2021 – IGP Paestum Rosso

A nice fruity nose, which offers a certain controlled power, deepness, a certain intensity and a nice slight spiciness. It expresses the notes of boysenberry, dense dark berries and small notes of camphor, combined with touches of bigarreau cherry, concentrated blueberry and small notes of plum blossom, quite ripe/bright plum, hints of sense of place / warm olive tree, as well as hints of pepper, fresh anise and a hint of spice. The mouth is silky, supple, gourmand, finely tight and offers a certain elegance, energy, juiciness, a certain depth, a nice stretchiness. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, juicy/pulpy black plum, and more lightly — small crushed black berries, associated with touches of bigarreau cherry, violet, lily, as well as fine almost eucalyptus hints. in the background, a sense of place, toast, tonka bean, as well as a hint of minerality, almost oceanic, and delicate hints of anise and chocolate. The tannins are supple, ripe and suave. A very nice persistence.
