Humbrecht – Pinot Gris 2012 – Vendanges Tardives – Alsace

Humbrecht – Pinot Gris 2012 – Vendanges Tardives – Alsace

The nose is fruity, finely rich and relatively powerful. It reveals notes of candied lemon, candied yellow peach and pear combined with notes of honey, discreet notes of almond as well as a hint of spices and botrytis. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, a bit aerial and offers juiciness, a beautiful acid frame and minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of candied lemon, peach in syrup and slight notes of candied clementine associated with a hint of quenette, honey and pâtisserie. Good length and persistence with notes of spices and fruit.
