The nose is powerful and aromatic. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and spices associated with fine notes of fleshy raspberry, subtle hints of blue fruits (in the background) as well as hints of Cuben pepper and gray pepper. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced, suave, silky and offers a good definition, a fine acid frame, a fine unctuosity as well as a fine minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, crushed fleshy raspberry and more slightly blue fruits associated with fine/discreet touches of caramelization as well as very a discreet hint of almond and gray pepper (in the background). Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length. There is a very discreet hint of crushed nut on the persistence.
