HSE – Rhum Agricole Extra Vieux – Grande Réserve XO – Martinique

The nose is aromatic, fine, elegant, charming and relatively complex. It reveals notes of Zante currante, dried lemon, dried citrus zest and slight notes of candied fruit associated with slight notes of caramelization, cardamom as well as fine notes of tobacco, toasted oak , mocha / cocoa and a discreet note of leather. The palate is fruity, fine, relatively aerial, gourmand, suave, well-built, relatively fleshy and offers a certain opulence, a good volume and a beautiful unctuous matter. In the mouth this Rum expresses notes of Zante currante and dried citrus associated with fine notes of quenette, pear as well as a discreet note of lychee (in the background), spices (nutmeg …), a few discreet woody notes and slight notes of brown sugar caramel / pâtisserie. Good length and persistence.
