Horus – Di Sicilia… Sole e Terra 2017 – DOC Vittoria Frappato

The nose is fruity, precise, finely tight and offers a small richness/power. It revelals notes of bigarreau cherry, cassis and small notes of plum associated with fine touches of wild raspberry and discreet hints of flowers. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a juicy/finely acidulous frame as well as a ripe/juicy/acidulous fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of raspberry, rose and small notes of crunchy cherry associated with fine touches of zan as well as a very discreet hint of rosemary and small local flowers. Tannins are well-built. Good length. A fine firmness on the finish. A good persistence with in particular a very discreet hint of dark chocolate.
