The nose is fruity and offers a certain richness, pulpiness (of the fruit), a fine intensity and a certain elegance. There are notes of fleshy cherry, fleshy strawberry and, to a lesser extent, violet, combined with hints of crushed red plum, liquorice, incense and a touch of fresh tobacco and black pepper. The palate is mineral and reveals freshness, some tightness, tension and a tangy structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy sour cherry, crushed strawberry small notes of sour, crunchy purple plum combined with hints of lily, liquorice, crushed wild berries and hints of liquorice, a fine touch of cardamom, toasted almond and a subtle hint of earth. Fresh and mineral. The acidity carries the wine. Good length. A fresher style than the rest of the range.
