Honig – Sauvignon Blanc 2016 Reserve – Rutherford, Napa Valley

The nose is powerful, concentrated and offers richness. It reveals notes of brugnon, oak and small notes of citrus associated with touches of zest as well as slight hints of crushed pear and hazelnut. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers tension, straightness, fatness, freshness, tension, fleshiness as well as richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed brugnon, crushed pear and small notes of quince associated with touches of oak, almond as well as slight hints of zest. Good length. There are slight hints of vanilla on the persistence.
