The nose is fruity, and racy and offers a slight power, some creaminess as well as minerality. It reveals notes of creamy cherry, wild strawberry, and more slightly – hints of violet associated with touches of rose / fresh flowers, hints of tonka bean as well as a subtle hint of graphite and pepper. The palate is nicely fresh, and juicy and offers a fine creaminess in freshness, a nice racy minerality, a fine airy side as well as a fine framed and balanced richness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of creamy cherry, juicy/pulpy blackberry, and more slightly – notes of creamy plum, and rose associated with touches of almost root, violet, and star anise, with a discreet hint of chocolate, toasted as well as with a subtle hint of fresh almond and clove. The tannins are well structured.
