(Barrel tasting) The nose is fruity, well-balanced and offers freshness, a beautiful richness (but full of finesse) and a beautiful elegance. It reveals notes of ripe blackberry, crushed cassis, ripe red berries and fine notes of fresh strawberry combined with a fine hint of fresh blueberry as well as fine touches of sweet spices and subtle hint of liquorice. The palate is fruity, sweet, racy, well balanced and offers a beautiful freshness, a fine minerality, a beautiful density, a fine depthness, an outstanding definition / expression, a beautiful volume, a nice fat as well as silkinesse and a beautiful grain . On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh blackberry, ripe /fresh cassis and fine notes of fleshy blueberries associated with discreet touches of toasted oak, liquorice as well as a subtle hint of coffee, a discreet hint of chocolate and an imperceptible grilled hint. Tannins are fine, silky and slightly firm. Good length. Beautiful potential!
