Hagmeyer WAH ! Single Malt

Hagmeyer WAH ! Single Malt

This whisky has got an amber color, bright and shiny. Very charming nose with lots of spices such as vanilla but also cinnamon and cloves. Like a scent, there are notes of bitter orange, lemon zest, pear, rosewood and lilac. Delicate, it is an atypical single malt from Alsace. The palate is smooth, straightforward with pronounced notes of spices such as cloves, cinnamon and vanilla. There is a hint of bitterness in the mid-palate reminiscent of citrus aromas such as grapefruit zest, lemon zest, bitter orange or even clove-studded orange. We also have some fruits that stand out on the finish such as cherry in brandy, mirabelle plum and pear. Interesting. The clove remains an element present until the finish.
