Haag – Cuvée Marie 2016, Gewurztraminer – Alsace Grand Cru, Zinnkoepfle

The nose is fruity, elegant, precise, racy and offers a beautiful definition. It reveals notes of quenette, citrus zest and small notes of flowers (rose, honeysuckle) associated with slight hints of lychee, green apple and racy minerality. The palate is fruity, suave, well-balanced and offers a fine acid frame, gourmandise, precision, a (very) slight tension, a fine freshness, elegance as well as good fineness of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of quenette, ripe / compoted apple and passion fruit associated with small touches of flowers, citrus as well as a discreet hint of crushed kumquat and racy minerality. Good length.
